What is the difference between Schuberth C3 and C3 pro?
It’s not an insignificant difference. It’s the subject of price and cost that neatly brings us onto the C3 Basic, the helmet that was replaced by the C3 Pro about three or four years ago. The C3 Pro was two decibels quieter than its predecessor. It had better venting, more downforce, a plusher interior and so on.
Is Schuberth C3 Pro quiet?

Does the C3 Pro come with pinlock?
Currently the C3 Pro only comes fitted with a Pinlock lookalike, and that for us is unacceptable. Such compromises should not be countenanced on a helmet of this quality.

What is the SRC system on the C3(R)?
SCHUBERTH SRC is purchased separately (L). SRC collar replaces the stock neck roll on the C3 (R). The most amazing thing about describing the SRC system is that there isn’t much to describe. It fits the helmet, charge it up, turn it on and it works.

Can the SRC collar be used with the C3 pro?
The SRC collar easily swaps with the stock S2 neck roll, although fitting the SRC to the C3 Pro requires deft hands and a lot of patience, as we and many others have discovered. But once the SRC-S is installed, it provides Cardo Scala Rider type intercom technology that seems to be the equivalent of a Cardo Scala Rider G9 (review).
